Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer |
Sharon is co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Renovo and is Director responsible for Quality Assurance. She was responsible for establishing and building all the research and development capabilities and is currently responsible for providing strategic direction and support to all of Renovo's pre-clinical programmes.
Before co-founding Renovo in October 2000, Sharon had a 13-year career based in academia, with many industrial collaborators, publications, invited speaking engagements, large peer-reviewed grants, and numerous international research awards. Throughout this career, her research focussed predominantly on the therapeutic topic of wound healing and scar prevention, so she brings extensive expertise in all areas of research relevant to the company. Immediately before co-founding Renovo, Sharon was a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Manchester where she remains an honorary lecturer. |
