31/03/08 - Northwest Women in Business Awards

Renovo is pleased to announce that Dr Sharon O'Kane, CSO, was named as the Entrepenuer of the Year at the inaugural Northwest Women in Business Awards in Merseyside last week.

Organised by the Northwest Women’s Enterprise Forum (NWWEF), the Northwest Women in Business Awards is the first region wide event celebrating the achievements of the women that are running some of the region’s most successful and innovative businesses. It aims to inspire and encourage more women to consider enterprise as a career and increase the number of women starting up or expanding businesses in the Northwest.

9/10/07 - European Biotechnica Award 2007

Renovo won first prize in the final round of the European Biotechnica Award 2007. This was the first time that the award has been won by a UK biotech company. The award, which brings with it benefits worth up to 100,000 Euros, is presented by the Deutsche Messe AG to European biotech and life science companies in related fields.

4/12/06 - World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer of the Year

Renovo was selected as one of the 47 Technology Pioneers for 2007 from a group of 225 nominees. The Company received the award having been recognised as developing and applying innovative technologies in the areas of biotechnology and health.

Renovo was named as the region's emerging business of the year.

15/11/06 - EN Deals of the Year

Renovo won 'Best Technology Deal' based on the success of its flotation on the LSE in April 2006.

15/11/06 - Bionow Awards

Professor Mark Ferguson, Chief Executive of Renovo, was awarded the Northwest Bionow Personality of the Year.

Bionow is the Northwest Regional Development Agency's biotechnology cluster support group.

14/9/06 - Northwest Director of the Year

Professor Mark Ferguson, Chief Executive of Renovo, was awarded 'Northwest Director of the Year' by the Institute of Directors (IOD) for the region in 2006.
